Induction

This process is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction and forces between current carrying conductors. A high voltage discharge from a bank of capacitors is run through a solenoid coil with the workpiece placed proximal to the coil. Depending on the relative positioning, the workpiece can get compressed, expanded or launched flat and undergo joining, welding, forming or cutting operation.
